Pea Pesto

What you need

  • Frozen minted peas 1 cup.
  • Crushed garlic 1 teaspoon.
  • Spring onion 1, sliced finely.
  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons.
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons.
  • Grated parmesan cheese ¼ cup.
  • Sweet chilli sauce 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation time: 10 minutes


  • Blend all together in a food processor or blender. It may be a bit stiff to start with but it gets softer as the peas thaw out. Very scrummy!

Makes around 1 cup
